ABOUT ME

Kristin West serves as an expert witness for weather and climate cases.

 

Kristin worked in the Orlando news market as a meteorologist for nearly a decade. She spent the past six years as a meteorologist on FOX 35's Good Day Orlando.

 

Kristin graduated in 2010 from the University of Florida with a degree in Telecommunications and News Broadcasting.  While at UF, Kristin also earned a certificate in Climatology and Meteorology.  She continued her studies at Mississippi State University, one of the top programs in the country, earning a certificate in Operational Meteorology.

 

Kristin’s experience and expertise enables her to study a case, access the necessary weather data and create compelling reports to support her conclusions.  Her on camera experience assures that Kristin will be likable and personable on the witness stand, while displaying humble confidence.  Kristin is able to explain complex weather phenomena in a way that the judge and jury will be able to understand.  She knows how to stay calm in high stress situations.

 

Kristin lives in Winter Park, Florida with her husband and 3-month-old son.
